NFL Net's Bornstein Writes Op-Ed In Roll Call On Comcast Carriage

NFL Network President & CEO Steve Bornstein took his anti-Comcast message to Capitol Hill, writing an op-ed in the DC trade publication Roll Call that warns the politicians that the channel likely will be available on Comcast only for the next nine days. Referencing last week's hearing before an administrative law judge, Bornstein wrote, "Unfortunately, we do not expect a final resolution under this procedure for many months. Meanwhile, the clock is ticking for NFL fans that are limited to Comcast cable." Bornstein also referenced NFL Network's deal with EchoStar, which was signed earlier this month, at, what Bornstein says was, "a fair and equitable price." Bornstein: "We hope that Comcast also will act responsibly, negotiate with us in good faith and keep the best interests of the fans in mind."
