Actively Interviewing Other Agents |
Saints TE JEREMY SHOCKEY last month quietly fired his agent DREW ROSENHAUS, who has represented him since he was selected No. 14 overall in the '02 NFL Draft, but may re-join Rosenhaus Sports as a client, Rosenhaus confirmed Monday. "While it is true that Jeremy terminated his agent contract with us on March 11, he has indicated that he is going to re-hire us in the future," Rosenhaus said in a telephone interview with SportsBusiness Journal. "While I won't get into personal reasons for Jeremy making this decision, we have always had faith that he would be a member of the Rosenhaus Sports family." Other agents said they do not believe that Shockey has been actively interviewing other agents for representation. Although the firing occurred about a month ago, it only began leaking out into the agent community in the last few days.
