Excel Sports Secures Representation For Likely No. 1 Pick Griffin

Excel Sports Management, the agency owned by veteran NBA player agent JEFF SCHWARTZ, has signed Univ. of Oklahoma F BLAKE GRIFFIN -- who has been widely projected as the No. 1 pick in this year’s NBA Draft -- and his older brother, fellow OU F TAYLOR GRIFFIN, for representation. Excel President Schwartz and NBA agent and Excel VP SAM GOLDFELDER will jointly represent both brothers, Excel officials confirmed. "We are thrilled to have Taylor and Blake as clients. They are both great basketball players but even better people," Schwartz said, in a statement to SportsBusiness Journal.
