Colts Have Sold Out 79 Of 80 Regular-Season
Games Since '99, Including 46 Consecutively |
The Colts "anticipate a 95[%] season ticket renewal rate for the 2009 season," according to Mike Chappell of the INDIANAPOLIS STAR. Colts Senior Exec VP Pete Ward said, "We've had some people (not renew), and some of those have told us it's the economy. Others have told us they're planning on holding on even with the economy because they don't want to lose their seats." The Colts have sold out 79 of 80 regular-season games since '99, including 46 consecutively. The team is "in the process of replacing season ticket holders who chose not to renew." Season ticket holders "get the first crack at adding to their allotment," and if seats remain, the team "will turn to a waiting list of nearly 25,000." Ward: "I think we'll get into the waiting list this year." Ward indicated that "all 141 suites at Lucas Oil Stadium have been sold for the '09 season" (INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 4/3).
