Scarborough Research Examines NASCAR Fan Demographics

The chart below presents select Scarborough Research demographics for fans of NASCAR, measured from February '07 through March '08. A fan of NASCAR is described as one that is very, somewhat or even a little bit interested in the sport. For example, 12.5% of NASCAR fans are between the ages of 18 and 24, and NASCAR fans are 1% less likely than the national average to be in that particular age range. NASCAR fans also are 127% more likely than the national average to have attended an NHRA event in the last year (Scarborough Research).
