Higdon Will Join LPGA
Management Committee
SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's Jon Show reports the LPGA has hired former Champ Car Exec VP/Strategic Development & Communications DAVID HIGDON as its first Chief Communications Officer, effective immediately. Higdon will be responsible for "building a strategic communications plan among the tour's various constituents." Higdon also becomes the sixth member of the LPGA management committee, though the first from the communications department. Prior to Champ Car, Higdon handled global communications for the ATP (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 2/9 issue).

EXECS: Former USTA Chief Exec of Professional Tennis ARLEN KANTARIAN has been elected to the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSLO) BOD (MSLO)....HKS has promoted CRAIG STOCKWELL to Principal and STEVEN TERRILL to Associate Principal (HKS)....Easton Sports promoted Sales Manager of Strategic Accounts RAY ZIOLKOWSKI to VP/Sales of Baseball and Softball (Easton)....DraftFCB CEO HOWARD DRAFT is relinquishing his role to assume the new position of Exec Chair. DraftFCB President & COO LAURENCE BOSCHETTO will become CEO, effective immediately (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 2/6).
