FRANCHISES: The Patriots named ESPN analyst and former Titans GM FLOYD REESE as a senior football advisor in the wake of the Chiefs hiring away former Patriots VP/Player Personnel SCOTT PIOLI as their new GM. The Patriots said that Reese "will be involved with various football-related assignments, including contracts." The team also announced that team Dir of Player Personnel NICK CASERIO will "manage the daily operations of the personnel department" (BOSTON.com, 1/27)....Univ. of Tennessee Assistant AD for Football Operations BRUCE WARWICK is leaving to join the Rams as Dir of Football Administration (GOVOLSXTRA.com, 1/26)….The Grizzlies have reassigned former assistant coach KEVIN O’NEILL to Special Assistant to the GM (BIZJOURNALS.com, 1/27)….The CFL Winnipeg Blue Bombers named JOHN MURPHY Dir of Player Personnel.
