Galida President
In Florida, Anthony Cormier reported there has been a "major shakeup at the top of IMG Academies ... where four executives were fired or encouraged to resign in the last few weeks." Bollettieri Tennis Academy Dir GABRIEL JARAMILLO, VPs TED MEEKMA and GREG BREUNICH and CFO JEFF MCNEIL all have been "asked to leave" since December. IMG officials would not comment (Sarasota HERALD-TRIBUNE, 1/13)....Millsport formally named TORREY GALIDA President of its Charlotte-based motorsports division. Since '04, Galida was CMO of Roush Fenway Racing (Millsport)….Premier Partnerships promoted ALLISON HOWARD to VP/Corporate Partnerships and named CSN Mid-Atlantic Sports Marketing Exec JESSE RYBACK Manager of Corporate Partnerships (Premier)....The Falcons named Dir of Pro Player Personnel LES SNEAD Dir of Player Personnel (Falcons)....Kentucky Speedway Exec VP & GM MARK CASSIS has resigned from the track and "moved to Florida to start a new business." His resignation was effective December 31, when his contract expired, the same day SMI announced the completion of its purchase of the track (CINCINNATI ENQUIRER, 1/13)....The Single-A New York-Penn League State College Spikes named TODD PARNELL President and JASON DAMBACH GM, and promoted GM RICK JANAC to Exec VP and Dir of Ticket Sales CHRIS PHILLIPS to Assistant GM (Spikes).
