Florida's Jeremy Foley Ranks As Highest-Paid D-I AD At $965,000

Foley Earning $965,000
Guaranteed At Florida
Univ. of Florida AD Jeremy Foley is the highest-paid AD among public schools in Division-I college football, and his $965,000 guaranteed salary "can grow to more than $1[M] after benefits and bonuses," according to an examination of AD salaries in D-I college football by Curtis Eichelberger of BLOOMBERG NEWS. Foley has managed $199M in sports facility renovations since becoming AD in '92, and he oversees an $83M athletics budget. Univ. of Kansas AD Lew Perkins ranks No. 2 with a $900,000 guaranteed salary, followed by Univ. of Wisconsin AD Barry Alvarez at $750,000. The contracts were acquired by filing public records requests with each public university in D-I, and schools that are not "required by law to disclose employee contracts" are not included (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 1/6).
