Turnstile Tracker: Hornets Up Almost 50% In Average Attendance

NBA Western Conference attendance through December 8 is almost flat with last season compared to the same period last year, as it is up less than 1%. The Hornets, on the heels of winning the Southwest Division last season are showing by far the largest attendance growth with 47.5%. However, the Kings, Grizzlies and Clippers are all showing double-digit average attendance declines. The Mavericks, at 104.1%, have the largest percentage capacity in the NBA, though that is down 1% from '07-08. The following presents Western Conference attendance through December 8, with comparisons to the same period last season (THE DAILY).
