Barbara Walters Includes Phelps As
One Of Most Fascinating People Of '08
ABC Thursday night aired “BARBARA WALTERS Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2008” which included U.S. Gold Medal-winning swimmer MICHAEL PHELPS. Walters said Phelps' Olympic performance has “earned him millions of dollars and made him a pop culture hero.” Walters: “His image now adorns scores of products and promises that we can be champions too" (ABC, 12/4).

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY: Eagles QB DONOVAN MCNABB’s wife, ROXIE, Tuesday gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. The twins, whose names have not yet been announced, join four-year-old sister ALEXIS (SYRACUSE.com, 12/4). U.S. Olympic beach volleyball player KERRI WALSH is pregnant with her first child. Walsh said that she is “about 16-and-a-half weeks” pregnant (YAHOO.com, 12/3).
