Go Daddy Super Bowl Ads Featuring Danica Patrick Await NBC OK

Go Daddy CEO Says Super Bowl Commercials
Featuring Patrick Are "Slightly Inappropriate"
Go Daddy this week in L.A. produced two ads featuring IRL driver Danica Patrick for NBC's coverage of Super Bowl XLIII, but the ads "still have to be approved by NBC-TV censors," according to Jane Larson of the ARIZONA REPUBLIC. Go Daddy CEO Bob Parsons said the commercials are "fun, edgy and slightly inappropriate." Parsons: "Surely network censors will have a sense of humor. People could use a good laugh these days." Go Daddy Communications Manager Nick Fuller said that the company has "purchased one advertising spot" for the telecast (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 12/5). Parsons said in a statement, "We have two options and they're both absolutely ... GoDaddy-esque" (Go Daddy).
