NBA Senior VP Danny Meiseles Adds Exec Producer Duties

The NBA has added the role of Exec Producer to DANNY MEISELES' title, giving the Senior VP oversight of programming, development and production of NBA, WNBA and NBA D-League content. The exec supervises NBA Entertainment productions, including All-Star Saturday Night, the NBA All-Star halftime shows and the NBA Draft. Meiseles also manages the league's relationships with ESPN and TNT. Speaking of those relationships, Meiseles told THE DAILY that ESPN has "raised the level of their productions this year," referring to the additions of AVERY JOHNSON and MAGIC JOHNSON to the pregame shows. As far as TNT, he said. "We've had a 25-year relationship with TNT that just seems to get better and better."
