The Pistons have averaged "more than 5,000 individual ticket sales in each of the first three days" since acquiring G Allen Iverson in a Monday trade with the Nuggets, according to Tim Twentyman of the DETROIT NEWS. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ranked as the "three largest ticket sales days of the season" for the Pistons, and the team also has sold an "additional 100 full-season tickets." Following Iverson's acquisition, the Pistons launched a "Five-rson plan," a five-game ticket package for the price of four. Iverson also "recorded a phone message after Monday's news conference that was sent to season and partial-season ticket holders ... thanking them for their support and expressing his excitement to be in town." Meanwhile, the Pistons have received "more than 1,000 pre-orders for Iverson's No. 1 Pistons jersey," and the Palace Locker Room stores "expect the jerseys to be delivered" Friday. Also, the team's Pistons.com Web site has averaged 489,289 page views per day since the trade, an increase of more than 400,000 from the week leading up to the deal (DETROIT NEWS, 11/7). The Iverson trade sent G Chauncey Billups to the Nuggets, and ticket sales for tonight's Mavericks-Nuggets contest, Billups' first with the team, "have doubled each day since the trade was announced" (USA TODAY, 11/7).
