Blog Hound: Phillies' NLCS Triumph Captures Bloggers' Attention

Over the last 24 hours, the Phillies advancing to the World Series last night by winning the NLCS over the Dodgers was the most popular topic. Various storylines involving the Cowboys were also highly discussed, including CB Adam Jones' suspension, QB Tony Romo's injury, WR Terrell Owens, and the WR Roy Williams trade. The Red Sox' disappointing performance in the ALCS was a popular topic, with bloggers joking that the famous Citgo sign behind Fenway Park catching fire was symbolic of the Red Sox's play. Discussion about a possible Phillies-Rays World Series led bloggers to speculate that the match-up would be less than desirable for TV ratings when compared to a Dodgers-Red Sox World Series. Rounding out the top five was talk of Chiefs TE Tony Gonzalez being upset about not being traded to a more successful team. Visit www.sportsmediachallenge.com for more info or see chart below.
