Blog Hound: Bloggers React To McCarver's Criticism Of Ramirez

Over the past 24 hours, Fox analyst Tim McCarver calling Dodgers LF Manny Ramirez' behavior with the Red Sox this season "despicable" was the most popular topic. Also highly discussed was news that Cowboys CB Adam Jones fought with his bodyguard at a Dallas hotel, with many wondering how this incident would affect Jones' status with the league. The Cubs continued their run in the top five after a segment on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" mocked the fans' dismay over not advancing in the MLB playoffs. NFL Giants WR Plaxico Burress moved into the top five following discussion of his suspension and that he allegedly owes over $1,000 for damage to a rental car. Rounding out the top five was  news that Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller, and Marv Albert would serve as TNT's broadcast crew for Saturday's Nuggets-Suns outdoor preseason game.
