Jets TV Ad Campaign For Coaches Club Seats Features Donald Trump

Watch This Clip
The Jets today are launching a TV ad campaign for the 2,000 Coaches Club seats at the new Meadowlands stadium, according to Jeremy Olshan of the N.Y. POST. In the ad, "a man in a flamboyant white fur coat is revealed to be Donald Trump." Jets Exec VP/Business Operations Matt Higgins said the message of the ad is that fans who buy these Coaches Club seats "may be sitting next to Donald Trump or they may be sitting next to a guy who has been a fan for 30 years." The seats will be auctioned off on StubHub.com from October 19-27, and the starting bid is $5,000. Officials said that the Jets will "offer payment plans at 6.5[%] interest" for the seats. Olshan notes the "50-yard line seats come with their own entrance to the stadium, a parking space and a full spread of free food and non-alcoholic drinks at a swanky stadium restaurant." Coaches Club ticket holders also will have "the right to step out onto the field behind the Jets bench during the game" (N.Y. POST, 10/7). The Jets ran a full-page ad in Sunday's N.Y. Times touting the Coaches Club seats. The ad refers to the seats as "the 2,000 best seats in sports, available through a once-in-a-lifetime auction beginning Sunday, October 19 on StubHub.com" (THE DAILY).
