Creter, who previously was VP/Engineering for WJW-Fox in Cleveland, will report to Speed Senior VP/Production & Network Operations RICK MINER (Speed)....Arena Media Networks has named JAMES STEFANO Dir of Team Partnerships. Stefano had served as Fleer VP/Product Development (Arena Media Networks)....Univ. of Washington Associate AD for Fund Development KEN WINSTEAD resigned this week "to pursue other career opportunities" (SEATTLETIMES.com, 9/24).
FRANCHISES: Palace Sports & Entertainment named PETER WEBER VP/Corporate Partnerships. Weber previously served as a Managing Partner at Boston-based Weber Marketing Group and has also served as Bruins and Fleet Center Senior VP/Sales (PS&E)....The Pistons promoted ANNE HAYES to Assistant Dir of Community Relations, ERIKA SWILLEY to Manager of Community Relations and hired JAMIE MURDOCH and MICHAEL WARD as Community Relations Assistants (THE DAILY)....The WNBA Mercury named LESLEY FACTOR as PR and Community Relations Manager (Mercury)....The Nets named GREGG POLINSKY Dir of Player Personnel, and the Hawks named former NBAer DUANE FERRELL Player Relations & Programs Manager (SPORTING NEWS TODAY, 9/25).
