Time To Hit The Slopes: Deer Valley Tops List Of Best Ski Resorts
Deer Valley was once again ranked as the top ski resort in North America, according to Ski Magazine's '08-09 rankings. For the second year in a row, Vail fnished second, with Whistler-Blackcomb ranking third. Snowmass moved up one slot to No. 4, while Aspen fell three spots to No. 7. Sun Valley fell out of the top 10 to No. 11. Among ownership groups, Vail Resorts had five of its holdings make the top 20, while Intrawest had four resorts in the top 20. Edgar Stern also had two resorts in the top 10. The following lists the top 20 ski resorts for the '08-09 season (SKI MAGAZINE, 10/ '08 issue).
