PGA Tour Making Changes In Setup Of Communications Department
By Jon Show, Staff Writer, SportsBusiness Journal
The PGA Tour made some changes in its communications department as Exec VP/Communications & Int’l Affairs TY VOTAW will dedicate more of his focus over the next year on golf and the Olympics. JAMES CRAMER, a former Senior Communications Dir who spent the last year as Special Assistant to the Commissioner, was named VP/Communications for the Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour. Senior VP/Communications ANA LEAIRD had been overseeing all three tours but will primarily focus now on the PGA Tour. In a memo to employees, tour officials said Cramer will continue to handle the day-to-day media obligations of Commissioner TIM FINCHEM. KIRSTEN BURGESS and MAC HORTON have shifted into the commissioner’s office to handle some of Cramer’s former duties.
