MLS Attendance Up 3.0%; League-Leading Crew Off 2.5%
MLS is averaging 16,462 fans per game through September 8, up 3.0% from 15,979 for the same period last season. The Galaxy, despite being in last place in the Western Conference, continue to lead the league with 25,761 fans per game, up 10.0% from the same period a year ago. Chivas USA, the Galaxy's co-tenant at The Home Depot Center, is seeing the biggest bump from '07, up 21.2%. The Crew, despite having the league's best record, are off 2.5% from the same period last season.
