Harley-Davidson Sponsoring
Seating Area At Miller Park |
Harley-Davidson has inked a sponsorship deal with the Brewers that will include the addition of a 42-seat elevated seating area to Miller Park prior to the '09 season, according to Mark Kass of the BUSINESS JOURNAL OF MILWAUKEE. The seating area will be called the Harley-Davidson Deck and will "feature Harley-Davidson motorcycles built into the décor." Members of the Harley Owners Group will receive discounted tickets to the deck for all games, and admission to the area will be through a new gate called Gate H-D (BIZJOURNALS.com, 9/2). Brewers Exec VP/Business Operations Rick Schlesinger: "This is a fully integrated sponsorship and one of the most comprehensive deals in Brewers history." Harley-Davidson CMO Mark-Hans Richer added that the agreement "provides local and national exposure." In Milwaukee, Don Walker notes as part of the multi-year deal, the Brewers and Harley-Davidson "also plan to team up on ticket packages that include game tickets and admission" to the company's new Milwaukee museum. Also, a "Harley rider will deliver the game ball just before the first pitch," beginning with last night's game against the Mets (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 9/3).
