Churchill Downs Inc. (CDI) named Scientific Atlanta Chair, President & CEO JAMES MCDONALD and Sterling G. Thompson Company President & co-Owner ALEX RANKIN to its BOD. McDonald and Rankin will serve until the 2010 annual meeting of the company's shareholders (CDI)....Sunrise Sports, which owns the NHL Panthers and manages the BankAtlantic Center, named investor STUART SIEGEL as the company's first Managing Dir in July (SOUTH FLORIDA BUSINESS JOURNAL, 8/29 issue).
