BRONX BONANZA: YES' Yankees telecasts for July earned a 4.9 average HH rating (471,000 viewers), the best July ever for MLB on a New York RSN. The 4.9 rating is up 4.3% from a 4.7 last July. Additionally, Monday's Yankees-Rangers telecast was the highest-rated primetime telecast on YES this season, drawing a 6.8 HH rating (715,000 total viewers) in the N.Y. DMA. Since May 28, Yankees primetime games on YES have ranked No. 1 in the N.Y. DMA 21 of the last 22 game nights. Ratings for YES' Yankees telecasts so far this season are up 2% season-to-date over last year (4.6 vs. 4.5 average HH rating in N.Y. DMA), putting the net on pace to have its best-rated Yankees season ever (THE DAILY).
FSN: FSN West received its highest single game Angels rating for the '08 season with the Angels-Yankees July 31 telecast, which earned a 2.19 HH rating. The Dodgers also recorded their all-time highest-rated game on FSN Prime Ticket for the August 1 D'Backs-Dodgers game, which earned a 5.19 HH rating (FSN)....Through July 31, Tigers primetime telecasts this season have delivered a 8.0 average HH rating, the highest in the Detroit DMA and more than two ratings points ahead of the closest competitor (FSN).
