JOHN RAWLINGS has resigned as Senior VP/Editorial Dir of Sporting News. Rawlings resigned when the company moved operations to Charlotte due to family considerations. He joined Sporting News in '90 as Editor of the magazine and later became responsible for all content across all the platforms -- magazine, yearbooks, books and online. He will remain in St. Louis. Sporting News is owned and operated by American City Business Journals, parent company of The Daily (THE DAILY).

EXECS: The WWE named JOHN SABOOR to the newly created position of Senior VP/Special Events. Most recently, Saboor was President of the Central Florida Sports Commission (WWE). As CFSC President, Saboor was "charged with oversight of the day-to-day operations, as well as the attraction and retention of key relationships that produced more than 500 events and created more than $30[M] of new economic impact for the region."  Saboor said that he "will continue to live in the Orlando area" (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 7/29)....MSG Entertainment named LIANA FARNHAM VP/Concert Marketing where she will oversee the marketing of all concerts, family shows and attractions in N.Y., and outside markets like Chicago.
