The 4.9 HH average marks the net's highest Cubs average to date through the All-Star break. CSN's White Sox coverage is averaging a 1.9 HH rating (66,000 HHs), a 26.7% increase over a 1.5 through last year's All-Star break (CSN).
AFL PLAYOFFS: ESPN's coverage of the July 12 AFL Soul-Gladiators National Conference Championship earned a 0.6 coverage rating, the AFL's highest rating on the net since the current deal began in '07. The game drew 545,000 HHs, up 12.6% over 484,000 HHs for the '07 Destroyers-Force National Conference Championship. Meanwhile, ESPN earned a 0.5 coverage rating for its coverage of the July 12 SaberCats-Rampage American Conference Championship, up 66.7% over a 0.3 for the '07 SaberCats-Rush American Conference Championship. The game drew 465,000 HHs, a 58.2% increase over 294,000 HHs for the SaberCats-Rush game last year (ESPN).
