Mark Lazarus To Become Career Sports & Entertainment President

Mark Lazarus Joining
Career Sports & Entertainment
By John Ourand, Staff Writer

Former Turner Sports President MARK LAZARUS has joined Career Sports & Entertainment as President of Media & Marketing. Lazarus, who left Turner in January after an 18-year career with the company, will report to LONNIE COOPER, who is the Founder and CEO of the company. The Atlanta-based company is focused on three areas: TV production, corporate sponsorships and client representation. Lazarus already has brought NASCAR Media Group on as a client, but the former Turner exec says that he is excited about the opportunity to return to his entrepreneurial roots. "This is a big playground with very few rules," he said. "After working for so many years within those rules, I'm ready for a place that has no boundaries."
