The two moves “collectively replace” the Dir of Player Personnel position left vacant earlier this year when TROY WEAVER left to become Sonics Assistant GM (DESERET NEWS, 7/4)….Golf World named MATTHEW SHEEHAN Creative Services Dir, effective immediately. Most recently, Sheehan was Marketing Dir for Tennis magazine (Conde Nast)….The Bengals named WADE MARTIN Senior Corporate Sales Manager. Previously, Martin was at ISP Sports, where he served in corporate sponsorship sales (Bengals)…The U.S. Bowling Congress (USBC) named STEVE KLOEMPKEN Technical Dir effective August 1 (USBC)....The Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) named KELLI BRISCOE Assistant Dir of Communications (MVC)….Anderson Univ. promoted Associate AD MARCIE TAYLOR to AD. Taylor replaces MICHAEL ZAPLOSKI, who resigned in March to become AD at Augustana (IL) College (INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 7/5).
