User Friendly: Yahoo Top Sports Site Among Unique Users In May
Yahoo topped all sports sites for the month of May, drawing in 21.7 unique visitors, according to data from Nielsen Online. That number is up 13.2% from April of this year, and up almost 55% from May of last year. Looking at the same period a year ago, Fantasy Sports Ventures, which is a roll-up of fantasy sports sites, has seen a 302.9% increase in unique visitors. CBSSports.com, which includes CBS College Sports (previously CSTV), is down from both April '08 and May of '07. Looking at top video streams among sports sites, ESPN.com continues to dominate the field with over 124 million streams.
