Other celebrities in attendance included Modell's Sporting Goods CEO MITCH MODELL, Patriots coach BILL BELICHICK, actor LEONARDO DICAPRIO and Aerosmith's STEVEN TYLER (BOSTON HERALD, 6/18). Patriots President JONATHAN KRAFT also attended the game (BOSTON GLOBE, 6/18).

Nash To Host Charity Soccer
Game At Nike Field In N.Y.
JUST FOR KICKS: Suns G STEVE NASH on June 25 will host a soccer game for charity titled, "Showdown in China town" at Nike Field in N.Y. The game will feature MLS Red Bulls MF CLAUDIO REYNA, former soccer star STEVE MCMANAMAN, Warriors G BARON DAVIS, Suns F RAJA BELL and Knicks F DAVID LEE (N.Y. POST, 6/18).

NAMES: Former Celtics CFO JOE DILORENZO is part of a development team that is proposing a $420M movie, TV and multimedia complex in Boston (BOSTON HERALD, 6/18)....NHL Draft Prospect C JOHN TAVARES has signed with CAA for representation, about a month after Tavares cut ties with agent BRYAN DEASLEY (CP, 6/18)....Golfer ANNIKA SORENSTAM, set to retire at the end of the season, will become a USGA ambassador "involved in the Rules of Golf and with programs to grow the game" (AP, 6/17)....Producers BRUCE NASH, who worked on ESPN's "THE FRITZ POLLARD STORY," and JOHN DAVIS are teaming to develop sports-themed films under a new project developed through Nash's FSN series "Amazing Sports Stories" (DAILY VARIETY, 6/18).
