Sunny Florida: West Palm, Ft. Myers Top Markets For U.S. Open Playoff

Host market San Diego topped all Nielsen metered markets for NBC's coverage of the final round of the U.S. Open on Sunday with a 14.0/34 rating. But with many San Diego residents returning to work yesterday, West Palm Beach and Ft. Myers-Naples, both with large retired demographics, led all markets for Monday's playoff coverage, which saw Tiger Woods defeat Rocco Mediate over 19 holes. San Diego finished fourth for yesterday's coverage with an 11.5/31. The following lists the top metered markets on NBC for both Sunday and Monday's coverage of the U.S. Open (THE DAILY).
