Ritter Forms Own Consulting
Firm In Connecticut |
KEITH RITTER, the former head of the NHL Interactive CyberEnterprises, has formed his own Westport, Connecticut-based consulting firm, Keith Ritter Media. Ritter left the NHL in December after seven years with the league. Prior to that, Ritter worked at CBS and ABC (Eric Fisher, SportsBusiness Journal).
FACILITIES: AEG Facilities named Fenway Sports Group Exec VP and Red Sox VP/Fenway Enterprises & Broadcasting CHUCK STEEDMAN Senior VP & GM for Northland AEG LLC's future Hartford, Connecticut, operations, which will include management of the XL Center and Rentschler Field, as well as business operations of the AHL Hartford Wolf Pack (AEG). Steedman replaces MARTY BROOKS, who this week resigned to become GM of the Scottrade Center in St. Louis (HARTFORD COURANT, 6/13).
MLB FRANCHISES: The Tigers named Global Network Communications Managing Dir RON COLANGELO VP/Communications, effective June 16. Colangelo will oversee the day-to-day operation of the club's media relations, business communications and broadcasting areas (Tigers)....The Reds named MLB Cardinals VP/Player Personnel JERRY WALKER Special Assistant/Player Personnel to President of Baseball Operations & GM WALT JOCKETTY (Reds)....The MLB Giants named JACKSON WAN System Administrator.
