MLS Attendance Up 5.6% Through June 9
MLS through June 9 is averaging 15,951 fans per match, up 5.6% from the same period a year ago, with an international friendly as part of a double header at Gillette Stadium helping the cause. The Galaxy are again leading the league in average attendance, up 5.4% at The Home Depot Center, while co-tenant Chivas USA are down 16.7%. Second-year club Toronto FC continues to pack BMO Field to over 100% capacity and has seen a slight attendance gain from the year-ago period.
