Jim Furyk Signs Four-Year Deal With Transportation Company YRC

Furyk Inks Four-Year Endorsement
Deal With YRC For Roughly $6M
Jim Furyk, the 10th-ranked golfer in the world, has signed a four-year deal worth roughly $6M with Kansas-based transportation company YRC, according to a source familiar with the contract. Starting at this week’s U.S. Open, Furyk will wear the company’s logo on his right chest, joining Exelon on the left chest and Srixon on his hat. The deal represents YRC’s largest golf spend by a large margin and provides access to a property whose point system is title sponsored by FedEx, one of its largest competitors. YRC, which works with rEvolution for sports marketing, is advertising during this week’s U.S. Open coverage on ESPN Radio. Plans call for Furyk, represented by Andrew Witlieb of Goal Marketing, to appear in a future radio and print campaign.
