Last night's Lakers-Celtics NBA Finals Game Two at TD Banknorth Garden was attended by Red Sox Owner JOHN HENRY, Chair TOM WERNER and President & CEO LARRY LUCCHINO. Eagles Owner JEFFREY LURIE also was in attendance along with Eagles QB DONOVAN MCNABB, RB BRIAN WESTBROOK and CB BRIAN DAWKINS in a private suite. Meanwhile, Reebok had endorser and Titans QB VINCE YOUNG in their box. And actor LEONARDO DICAPRIO and comedian LENNY CLARKE also attended the game (BOSTON HERALD, 6/9).

HALL OF FAME: The following were inducted into the National Jewish Sports HOF (NJSHOF) during a ceremony held yesterday:  Fox' SAM ROSEN, ESPN's TONY KORNHEISER, former U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist LENNY KRAYZELBURG, former U.S. gymnastics Gold Medalist KERRI STRUG, former U.S. Olympic Fencing Team member DANIEL BUKANTZ, Pro Football HOFer RON MIX, Univ. of Tennessee men's basketball coach BRUCE PEARL and former St. John's Univ. basketball player HY GOTKIN (NJSHOF)....Boxer LARRY HOLMES yesterday was inducted into the Int'l Boxing HOF along with N.Y. TIMES sports columnist DAVE ANDERSON and Japanese journalist JOE KOIZUMI (PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS, 6/9).

NAMES: The WALL STREET JOURNAL's "Power Tables" section noted Seahawks QB MATT HASSELBECK, sports agent ERIC GOODWIN and Basketball HOFer LENNY WILKENS are regular customers at Seastar Restaurant in Bellevue, Washington (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 6/7)....Author JOHN FEINSTEIN's plan to open a restaurant this month named "Doc's of Potomac" has been "terminated due to financial and legal complications" (WASHINGTON POST, 6/8)....Univ. of Alabama football coach NICK SABAN and his wife, TERRY, donated $1M to the school's scholarship fund and "earmarked the sum for first-generation college students" (BIRMINGHAM NEWS, 6/8)....The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office found that convicted steroids dealer DAVID JACOBS last week committed suicide from two self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Jacobs in May "provided the NFL with documentary evidence and testimony that tied several players to performance-enhancing drugs" (N.Y. TIMES, 6/7).
