Turner Launching NASCAR On TNT Ad Campaign To Support Coverage

Turner's "NASCAR on TNT" Campaign
To Include Wraps On Six Flags Coasters
Turner Sports this week will break a national ad campaign titled "NASCAR on TNT" to "support its six-week coverage" of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series from the June 8 Pocono 500 to the July 12 LifeLock.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway, according to Barry Janoff of BRANDWEEK. The campaign includes TV, print and online activation featuring top drivers. Turner Sports Senior VP/Marketing & Programming Jennifer Storms said that the campaign will be supported by the net's "most extensive regional NASCAR push, targeting 'core NASCAR fans who love racing.'" TV, print, radio and outdoor ads will "appear in about 20 markets," including Atlanta, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, St. Louis and Tampa. Turner also will wrap "artwork around the roller coasters at Six Flags Over Georgia (Atlanta) and Six Flags St. Louis, with each car featuring different drivers." The parks also will "be outfitted with plasma screens looping 'NASCAR on TNT' TV spots and other NASCAR information" (BRANDWEEK, 5/26 issue).
