Joe Gibbs Motocross Team Signs Deal With Spike Energy Drink

The Joe Gibbs Racing professional motocross team, which is in its first year of competition, Thursday announced that Spike Hardcore Energy will become its primary sponsor. Terms of the three-year deal were not available, but most motocross title sponsorships typically range from the high six-figures to low seven-figures. The team will officially be titled the Spike Hardcore Energy Yamaha Team Presented by Toyota, and will debut at the first round of the Toyota AMA National Championship series on Sunday in San Bernardino, California. The deal was negotiated in part by Evolution Group, a N.Y.-based sports and entertainment agency.
