Kevin Garnett In New Ad Promoting Verizon's FiOS DVR Service
Celtics F Kevin Garnett is appearing in a new 30-second spot for Verizon's FiOS system. In the spot, via McCann Erickson, N.Y., Garnett promotes the company's Home Media DVR, which allows customers to record a show on one TV and view them from others in their house (Verizon). The ad launched Thursday, and a Verizon spokesperson said that it "will run for a couple of months" (BOSTON HERALD, 5/23). The ad was scheduled to air on the TD Banknoth Garden JumboTron during Thursday night's Pistons-Celtics Eastern Conference Finals Game Two (MULTICHANNEL.com, 5/22).
