Louisville Up, Baltimore Down For Preakness Metered-Market Ratings
After a slight Nielsen ratings drop for the Kentucky Derby, top market Louisville
saw a 13.4% gain for the race portion of the Preakness Stakes last Saturday
from 5:45-6:45pm ET. Host market Baltimore saw ratings dip 11.1% from last year's
20.8/41, even as attendance
at Pimlico dropped 7.5% from last year. Chicago saw the biggest gain in
ratings from last year's race, up 137.5% to a 5.7/15. The following lists metered-market
