The Browns have agreed to a three-year contract extension through the 2012 season with GM PHIL SAVAGE. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Savage "reportedly averaged $1[M] a year in his original five-year contract" signed in '05 (CLEVELAND.com, 5/2).

EXECS: The Canadian Soccer Association elected DOMINIC MAESTRACCI President.
