The Browns have agreed to a three-year contract extension through the 2012 season with GM PHIL SAVAGE. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Savage "reportedly averaged $1[M] a year in his original five-year contract" signed in '05 (CLEVELAND.com, 5/2).
EXECS: The Canadian Soccer Association elected DOMINIC MAESTRACCI President. Maestracci, who had served as acting president since October, will serve in the role through 2012 (CP, 5/5)....The Richmond Times-Dispatch named Deputy Sports Editor STEVE TROSKY Sports Editor, replacing MIKE HARRIS, who in January was named Virginia Commonwealth Univ.
