Dynamo Signs Area Chevy Dealers As Auto Partner Through '09

The MLS Dynamo announced a local automotive partnership with Houston Area Chevrolet Dealers today. The deal makes Houston Area Chevrolet the exclusive automotive partner of the Dynamo through '09. Sources valued the deal in the mid six-figures annually. The dealer will get naming rights to stadium parking lots, vehicle displays on stadium concourses and at pre-game events, in-game signage and advertising spots on English and Spanish TV broadcasts. The pair also will partner to revitalize soccer fields within the city, by adding new sod, a sprinkler system, fencing and other upgrades. The deal will kick off with the Dynamo's home match against Chivas USA Saturday. The deal was struck by Dynamo Senior Dir of Corporate Development Bryan Kraham and the club's corporate development group.
