Under Armour (UA) Friday confirmed that it "wants to build a corporate campus in Baltimore in the next several years." UA Chair & CEO Kevin Plank said that the company is "interested in having a bigger presence in the city," but he did not give details about "what sites his company is considering." Plank said UA's "four- or five-year plan includes an Under Armour campus" (Baltimore SUN, 4/26).

GOING GREEN: The L.A. DOWNTOWN NEWS reports AEG has partnered with the L.A. Department of Water & Power to "upgrade restrooms in the Nokia Theatre and L.A. Live over the next 60 days." The original urinals will be "replaced with a waterless brand by the manufacturer Falcon," which will save an estimated seven million gallons of water annually. Meanwhile, AEG officials revealed that Staples Center has "phased in the use of biodegradable plates and cups" (L.A. DOWNTOWN NEWS, 4/28).

NOTES: An Arlington, Texas, city report indicates that $534,481,625.44 has been spent on labor, materials and land for the Cowboys' new stadium in Arlington (FT. WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM, 4/26)....The Univ. of Oregon "plans to build an $18[M] underground parking structure next to a new basketball arena using a combination of donations and previously approved bonds" (Portland OREGONIAN, 4/26).
