Philadelphia-based Sports Reference LLC, which operates "perhaps the most comprehensive family of Web sites devoted to sports statistics and information," has expanded to include a site for hockey, on top of professional football, basketball and baseball. Sports Reference Founder SEAN FORMAN said that his company is "profitable, with revenue coming mostly from advertising" (WASHINGTON TIMES, 4/16).
