Overnight Nielsen Ratings From Weekend Sports Events

Overnight Nielsen ratings for the first weekend of coverage of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs on NBC were down compared to '07, when coverage did not go up against The Masters. On Saturday, the net earned a 1.0/3 overnight for Predators-Red Wings, down 16.7% from a 1.2/3 for regional coverage last year. On Sunday, Flyers-Capitals earned a 1.0/2 overnight, also down 16.7% from a 1.2/3 for Flames-Red Wings last year. The following lists overnight Nielsen ratings from weekend sports events. Ratings for Fox were not available at presstime (THE DAILY).
