Dolan Sees His Total Compensation
In '07 Increase 51% To $23.9M
Cablevision President & CEO JAMES DOLAN earned $23.9M in total compensation last year, a "healthy annual increase of 51[%]." Chair CHARLES DOLAN earned $15.4M, up 31%, Vice Chair HANK RATNER $19.8M, a 66% increase, COO TOM RUTLEDGE earned $14.8M, up 35% and Exec VP & CFO MICHAEL HUSEBY $3.5M, an increase of 40% from last year (CABLEFAX DAILY, 4/10).

A KNIGHT'S TALE: Four separate filings yesterday showed Nike Chair PHIL KNIGHT "filed to sell shares" of his company. The trade dates were listed as April 8, 2008, and showed a "total of 465,000 Class B common shares with prices going from $67.43 to $67.08, then at $67.07 to $66.78, then $66.77 to $66.48, and finally then $66.47 to $66.38." This "appears to be a total share sale in the vicinity of $30[M]" (247WALLST.com, 4/9).

DERBY DAYS: Film directors JOHN and BRAD HENNEGAN and other guests will be in attendance at the April 13 Louisville premiere of the Kentucky Derby-based documentary, "The First Saturday in May," at the Palace Theatre. The Hennegan brothers and select stars in the doc, including trainers DALE ROMANS and KIARAN MCLAUGHLIN will take part in a Q&A session after the film with host and Churchill Downs VP/Communications JOHN ASHER (Churchill Downs).

NAMES: After stepping down as WADA President, Canadian IOC member DICK POUND is "still going to talk about drugs in sport." Pound: "I feel just as strongly about the issue.
