Ping officials this week are planning to give PGA Tour player Angel Cabrera a "solid-gold replica" of the Ping Redwood Anser putter he used when he won last year's U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club. The putter weighs nearly 14 ounces, meaning it currently is worth more than $12,000 (GOLF WORLD, 4/11 issue)....American Eurocopter has signed on as an associate partner of Richard Childress Racing's No. 29 Chevrolet driven by Kevin Harvick for the '08 NASCAR Nationwide Series season (AUTORACING1.com, 4/8)....Scarborough Sports Marketing has signed the following as new clients: the Chargers, Reds, DC United, Arlington Park and Navigate Marketing (Scarborough).
