  • Fans around the country are excited about the way in which the Sounders’ owners named the team. These fans wish more professional sports franchises would use a democratic method and incorporate fans in the decision-making process.
  • Many bloggers believe this vote is a significant milestone and brilliant PR move for MLS. They think this is a sign that the league truly cares about its fans.
