Driver DALE EARNHARDT JR.'s new Charlotte-based bar Whisky River held its soft opening last weekend. The bar's pre-grand-opening VIP party will be held April 17, with the grand opening April 18. The bar also will host a party following the KEITH URBAN/CARRIE UNDERWOOD concert at Time Warner Cable Arena on April 18 (CHARLOTTE.com, 4/7).
