Italian lawyer MINO AULETTA was named President of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), defeating former WADA Chair DICK POUND in the election. Auletta won a majority of the 19 votes cast by the CAS council, which met in Monaco. Pound said he will remain on the CAS governing board (AP, 4/3).

EXECS: Liberty Sports Group, the newly formed subsidiary of Liberty Media, named STEPHEN TUCKER CFO.
