Italian lawyer MINO AULETTA was named President of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), defeating former WADA Chair DICK POUND in the election. Auletta won a majority of the 19 votes cast by the CAS council, which met in Monaco. Pound said he will remain on the CAS governing board (AP, 4/3).

EXECS: Liberty Sports Group, the newly formed subsidiary of Liberty Media, named STEPHEN TUCKER CFO. Previously, Tucker was with FUN Technologies, another subsidiary of Liberty Media (Liberty Sports Group)....Gateway Int’l Raceway promoted RON POE to Senior Group Account Exec.
