SI.com's Ian Thomsen profiled Hornets G Chris Paul under the header "Paul Winning Games And Hearts In New Orleans." He notes the Hornets are "uniting Paul's MVP candidacy with the larger mission of New Orleans by sending each award voter a scrapbook made by a middle-school student" in the city. The 350 scrapbooks "commend Paul as an athlete who has done much to help them and the city" (SI.com, 4/1).

Reebok Teaming With Marvel Entertainment
For  Iron Man And Incredible Hulk Sneakers
FANCY FEET: Marvel Entertainment has teamed with Reebok to make children's shoes featuring superheroes Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk. The shoes will be sold exclusively at Foot Locker and will coincide with the summer release of films featuring the characters. The shoes will retail for $45-65 a pair and will be marketed with signs and window displays in N.Y. (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 3/31).

JUICY DEAL: Ocean Spray has expanded its relationship with Arnold, naming the company its digital agency of record and, through Arnold's TrinityOne Sports, sports marketing agency of record. Arnold's digital responsibilities will include creating, designing and developing all online ads for Ocean Spray, including updating the brand's Web site. Arnold's efforts will start with the launch of Cranergy, Ocean Spray's first line of energizing juice drinks. Arnold will utilize TV spots, digital capabilities and interactive efforts in support of the campaign (Arnold).

NOTES: MLS Chivas USA has hired O'Brien Marketing to be the club's exclusive media buying agency for both English and Hispanic media outlets (O'Brien)....Evian Natural Spring Water has signed a two-year deal with U.S. swimmer Larsen Jensen, marking the company's first venture into aquatics (Evian).
